The exhibition was realized after an offer from Chairman Takashi Murakami to Mr. Fukumoto, after the latter exhibited his works at GEISAI #13.

He was willing to cooperate with us for an interview, too. We asked a lot of questions about what he values most in his creative process, his experiences with GEISAI, etc.
Please visit our YouTube channel for details about the interview.

The powerful image on this folding screen was inspired by traditional Nihonga. He told us that he had even made the screen himself.

The exhibition will be on until Sunday, January 24.

We look forward to seeing you at our Nakano Broadway gallery!
