Mahomi Kunikata

Profile

Born in Kanagawa in 1979, Kunikata graduated from Nippon Design School with a major in illustration.  Her work draws heavily from erotic manga.  She participated in Murakami’s art seminar Geijutsu Dojo in 2000, and was specially invited to participate in Geijutsu Dojo Exhibition, which marked her debut.  Her work was included in the Little Boy show at the Japan Society, and garnered attention for its otaku sensibilities.
