Akane Koide

Profile

Born in Tokyo, 1991.  In 2006, Koide participated as an artist in both GEISAI #9, and in a collaboration project for the 3rd Tokyo Girls Collection and GEISAI #10, held at a party co-hosted by both.  She presented her first solo booth at the 4th Tokyo Girls Collection.  Though still a junior high school student, she has already acquired sponsorship for her artwork. In 2009, a collection of works painted during the especially difficult years between ages 15 and 18 was unveiled at Gallery Trinity and Parco Factory.
